You’re Invited

Join us to meet our new Executive Director and celebrate the opening of our exhibit, “Freedom & Fashion: Waukesha Women Step Out in the 1920s.”
Peter Zehren brings a myriad of experience from public radio to health-based advocacy organizations. He has been blessed by the Dalai Llama and has interviewed Gloria Steinem.
Waukesha Mayor Shawn Reilly and Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow will both give remarks. And the impact of a new Institute of Museum and Library Services grant will be presented by former Executive Director Nicola Ciurro.
Refreshments will be served
The Fashion and Freedom exhibit highlights how clothing reflects the changes Waukesha women were experiencing in the 1920s. The new freedom and openness of society and the struggles facing the times as well.
The event is free and open to the public.
