The Waukesha County Historical Society & Museum is excited to host our popular Lunch and Learn Program on the second Tuesday of the month from 11:30 – 12:30. Each month we will have an interesting and educational presentation for you.

This month Nicki Ciurro will present – A Merry Victorian Christmas

This program will transport you back to the Victorian era, offering a glimpse into the unique ways Christmas was celebrated during this fascinating period. We will explore the customs, decorations, and festive foods that made Victorian Christmas a truly magical time. We will also be sharing some delightful Christmas Cookies.

Nicki Ciurro is the Executive Director of the Waukesha County Historical Society & Museum and a long-time lover of history. Nicki holds a bachelor of arts in art from Lander College, a master’s in history with certifications in public history and museum studies from UW-M, a post-baccalaureate certification in special education from UWM, and a master’s in educational leadership from Capella University.
Nicki was a special education teacher and administrator for 26 years and brought her passion for history and experiential learning to her students. During this time she also volunteered at the Chudnow Museum of Yesteryear and the Cedarburg History Museum before joining the WCHSM.
